Hi can you kindly explain me why is it not possible to view transcoded recordings ?

I would have the pleasure to talk to your engineers. Did you not consider that those access internet with a limited bandwidth would perhaps want to view recordings?. I propose myself as a developer because what I see is not acceptable. I think I will continue to use my old and glorious Broadway 3T. You are miles away from those who designed devices 10 years ago. Israelis are smart people, beautiful country, a little less to make tv boxes  :( Not acceptable!!!

That should not be an improvement, that functionality had to be designed from the start I would like to explore the engineers mind when they established that the transcoding of recorded videos is considered an optional. There is no overall consistency of the released features. If I knew in advance I wouldn't have bought it.

thanks for the tip but i already use Emby with a lifetime license. I don't see the need to leave another device on when the 4114 should do that job. It doesn't cost your engineers to transcode a video from a file instead using the tuner input. Broadway 3T do that. It is not clear why user experience should be different from those who watch a live streaming video compared to a recorded one, in deferred time. Come on, don't joke
