both dvb-s to same satellites

Question: If I use both tuners and they are connected via diseqc to twin-lnb's that would result in exdactly the same channels available on both tuners.
But I would see all channels twice in the channellist? That would not be very nice. The idea would be that vbox would choose the first available tuner for the selected channel….

Can you please explain setting up both tuners for basically the same satellites?

Kind regards,

Eppo

Hi
I'm not sure to understand what is the problem
let's start with what eventually you want to get?

I'm a little surprised by your answer. I will give you an example:

I have an XTi 3442 2x DVB-T/T2, a CoreELEC in an octacore processor and cheap TV box with 1x DVB-S/S2, an old USB DVB-T tuner, and an IPTV subscription.

The tvheadend server within CoreELEC manages the following services on a single TV channel called Disney Channel:

1.- Disney Channel in XTi 3442 (2 simultaneous accesses guaranteed via m3u)
2.- Disney Channel in the USB tuner (multiple simultaneous accesses in the same mux)
3.- Disney Channel in the satellite tuner (multiple simultaneous accesses in the same mux)
4.- Disney Channel in the IPTV subscription (1 simultaneous access)

When a TV client requests the Disney Channel, the tvheadend server provides the service that is available according to our preference.

What I do not like about XTi 3442 is that it is not possible to directly access the two tuners in a similar way as the SAT>IP tuners do to allow multiple simultaneous access within the same mux.
