Re: Upload bandwidth requirements
Assuming you are streaming only one channel, you need anywhere up to 6Mbit/s depending on channel.
This from your brother's perspective, will come from his Broadband Upload speed. What ever the Upload speed is, it gets shared amongst all users (unless traffic priorities have been set).

Re: EPG data for UK Freesat channels
Hi Marcus, You can do either. In your case, it is simpler just put it in XMLTV Network URL I tend to download to storage, as it makes debug easier and limits load on www.xmltv.co.uk server when debugging. Edit: I have two VBoxes, and other boxes, so I download only once, and then share across my box...

Re: EPG data for UK Freesat channels
Here is a free source of external data for UK Freesat (and Freeview) http://www.xmltv.co.uk/feeds From a quick look at the data for the 7 day feed, it is quite limited e.g. no series support. The other feeds up to and including 72 hours are better. Note I have no idea where xmltv.co.uk get its data ...

Re: Factory Reset
Just a long shot, if the original user just enabled protection without actually changing user or password.
