Re: Fatal bug in LiveTV App

Yes, but no info regarding the guide has come forth. The info seems to off track to video and browser issues. EPG, based on reading between the lines, is one dealt with under the vboxcomm.com.au website how to's, as not all areas are perfect with EPG transmission. It is hard to follow how the issue ...

Re: Fatal bug in LiveTV App

See vboxcomm.com.au - howto and support. The non live playback in browsers became an issue when NPAPI and PAPI was removed from browser support. You can only use browsers for live playback when using a third party app such as Plex etc. This is not a bug, it is expected behaviour with the non NPAPI b...

Re: Fatal bug in LiveTV App

Hi AnotherAussie, What version of the software are you using now? Go to system and screenshot for me please. Also, I am a bit confused as to how firefox fits in the picture? Since Firefox removed the NPAPI and PAPI support, the browsers have been of no use, leaving Plex and other third party solutio...

Re: Kodi krypton app buggy

I have found that Kodi does sometimes initiate a weird timeshift with the XML file (something to do with how Kodi is reading the data from the stream that causes the clock to flash/init, very visible on MRMC if the app is left running rather then doing the swipe close and restart each day) and a res...

Re: Kodi krypton app buggy

I am pretty sure we discovered - noted in the other thread - that, that XML has problems. I am still trying to find a reliable one, and VBox are looking to see why the xml is causing issues. For now I suggest trying to find a better XML and post it here if you do :)

Re: VBox to Synology

That's great news. I note though that this issue seems unique to synology as the Netgear and Teletrend NAS boxes to not have the issue. I ma testing Qnap NAS drives at the moment, but they also do not seem to have the issue.

Re: VBox to Synology

Remember that the Synology will only support SMB or NFS - the VBox does SMB using the // so always use //name/path Using the wizard, the VBox will change the details based on what the synology is sending back. So the synology is sending it all in CAPS and rewriting the IP to the name and domain you ...

Re: My Zone/Recordings - "File not found"

I have just tested with Kodi 17 on the windows box, MrMC on the AppleTV 4 and Kodi 17 on Linux and Mac and confirm that recordings are working correctly as well as deleting correctly. This seems to be an issue related to the RaspberryPi OSMC install and I am keen to hear how the update has worked fo...

Re: Can't Delete Recordings Using Kodi Addon

Well, colour me confused too as I cannot reproduce that error on Kodi 17, but can on Kodi 16, perhaps it is more related to the Raspberry Pi OSMC as my tests have all been full linux, MAC and windows OS. Can you post you logs to the support desk, both Kodi log and VBox log so that can assist in diag...

Re: My Zone/Recordings - "File not found"

Synology forums also report these issues, but not for VBox but AFP and other devices. There seems to be an issue when not using SMB or NFS on synology NAS devices. VBox supports FAT and EXT file systems so be sure your NAS can support direct calls. Directories and filenames that hold long strings al...
