Tuner Lock
I understand that the function of tuners switching themselves off when not in use is to save power- But its driving me nuts. Often when I have no tuners showing lock and try to access a channel I get a "cannot display this channel" message from the IPTV app in Android. The only way to wake up the bo...

Re: kodi-pvr-vbox dependency mismatch
Good tip. As I have 15 on my Ubuntu laptop, and wish to upgrade to 17.
Did you do a fresh install or install over version 15.

Re: Software letdown
I can recommend either IPTV or Perfect Player for Android. I gave up with the Vbox app on android, it just never worked. Perfect Player gives you a more set top box feel to it and has an easy to navigate epg which you can set up yourself to download from your favourite epg source. IPTV is good it yo...

Kodi add on improvements and a sofware one
The first two are for the KODI addon 1. Setting a buffer size in the addon. 2. Can we have the ability to get the EPG off the web directly, in the addon, rather than doing it from from the vbox itself. This one is for the software in the Vbox 3. the ability to completely delete channels I don't watc...

Re: What Do you watch your Vbox on.
I have now had to give up with using Kodi 16.1 as it was buffering to often. Instead I now use Perfect Player for Android on my Android tv box. Has an epg as well. This works much better and is quicker at loading the channels and EPG than either the Vbox Kodi addon or using the SimpleIPTV addon. Ano...

Re: Channel Display and Options on Manage Channels screen
A delete channel option would be great, rather than just untick it in the list.
Also displaying frequency of channel. Having to sift through loads of ITV channels to try and find the correct one isn't fun.
I know these have been suggested before, but just wanted to emphasize the fact.

What Do you watch your Vbox on.
Was just wondering what the rest of you use to watch your VBox on. I use: Android box with Kodi 16.01 on it. Ubuntu laptop using VLC I am also thinking of getting a Linux based mini pc for the lounge, but not too sure which one. Does anyone use a Rasberry Pi and if so which one? ( I did have an orig...

Re: tuners showing no lock SOLVED
Just put in the new cable from LNB to Vbox. Everything working fine.
Just need to sort out a few network gliches now. I guess moving into a house where the cabling has been done by somebody else is always going have issues.
Many thanks for all your help.
