I presume a constant ping to the IP should stop after a couple of minutes when I try this?
Nothing seems to happen. The green lights on the Vbox remain on, the pings keep going and the browser page changes to this:

This page and message are for changing the IP address,
The two options allow you to set the new IP address settings now
Or you can delay changing the IP address setting to after a reboot (use this option if you are planning to install the VBox on a different network environment, so the next time you turn the VBox on it will use the new IP address settings)

+1 for sleep mode with WOL and auto wake-up for timer recording.

Do you have an ETA for this? I note your last software update was almost a year ago (2.57 released May 2017).

What is the difference between vb and vj ?
I have SWUpdate__XTI_VJ.2.58, should I ask for vb version ?

this are different SW types for the 3442-3342 devices
VJ- for the new devices of 3442-3452
VB -for old devices of 3342-3352
