Stream radio to chromecast audio

Hi, via which app can I stream radio channels from my vbox to a chromecast audio?

Not sure that Chromecast audio can handle the live radio stream however you can try BubbleUPnP

I have configured bubble upnp server and the bubble android app and am streaming radio from vbox (sat) to chromecast audio in the bedroom.
The configuration is completely stable. Good luck!

The vbox wiki states chromecast as a compatible device. It is not.
Bubble may work by transcoding.

However Some radio channels play, other do not.
For example: NPO radio 1 does not play, NPO radio 2 Soul and Jazz does. Could team look into it?
Could of course be a problem for Bubble to solve.

Even VLC unable to open stream NPO radio 1. No log entry. Strange. Only KODI able to play it without any problem.

On kodi when you press info for this channel - does it uses the same encoding as other radio channels?

yes, both are FL,FR,MP2 16bits 48KHz

How do you try to open the NPO radio channel on VLC?
Please try to locate the VBox on the VLC UPnP interface and play it from there
