Re: Freeview play

Hmm, it's HbbTV standard based.
Not shure how this can be done via network device like vbox.

Does anybody really use it at all?
In our area some users see some test indication without real things for now.

Re: System hangs

Hi, yes from time to time it does hang. I've found that if I restart it, either via the web GUI, if it responds, or by pulling the plug if not, then it seems to work again. Sometimes I've managed to navigate to the services page and just restart the Streaming service - quicker than a restart. Don't...

Re: Boot time

Just for history:

For those who discover long (approx few minutes) boot of device after update to 2.57 fw:

You may go back to 2.56 - ask support.
And on beta fw like 2.57.15 or 2.57.16 boot time goes back to normal.
So there is hope next release comes with this fix.

Re: Add Multiple PLP for DVB-T2

Good news here. This is valuable info for users that have in terrestrial air dvb-t2 multi plp mode. Usually you may feel this when not all channels in same multiplex can be found by vbox. As example, in Russia on dvb-t2 first multiplex at channel 36 (594000 KHz) we have 3 plp: plp-0 8 tv and 2 radio...

Re: Upload bandwidth requirements

Well, problem is that they can't guess what exactly transmitted by provider in your area. So to get real info, there is sense take vbox in place where you planned install it and after all connection start watching desired channels. Then open web interface of vbox: Streaming - Status - on that page y...

Re: No BBC4 HD DVD-t2

Not shure if it's possible, but maybe there is sense to ask air provider some tech info about using multi plp settings for this channel? As example, in our area where i am now, we have 2 multiplex in dvb-t2. And in first multiplex some channels transmitting with multi-plp settings. While vbox cannot...

Re: Streaming box for external tv viewing

Don't forget that IP address of place where lives XTi - must be accesible from your holiday home.
Because you must be able to connect to XTi.
