Can anyone recommend a video editor/cutter/trimmer that simply cuts portions of my recordings from the Vbox to remove the few seconds/minutes before a programme starts and after it finishes please? For deleting channels completely, I've just posted my workaround to do this (a bit fiddly, but it works):

Deleting channels completely
This is only a workaround for the shortcomings in the VBox interface. Hopefully VBox will be able to add this option soon. 1. Open the Manage Files page in the VBox interface 2. Yes, seen that happen lots, both on a PC browser (Firefox on Linux) and in the Android grey app. Like you though, I never seem to be able to predict when it will play up - seems to be fine at the moment. Pi3 with OSMC (a Kodi distro) works pretty well with recordings on NAS box. Kodi on Ubuntu pretty good too. MythTV on Ubuntu pretty good. Scheduling is much better than Vbox's but getting the EPG working is a right pain. Native Android apps seem to keep crashing but can be OK. Would love to be able ...
