Contact support, they have firmware and instruction that allow flash device via usb and reset configuration to default.

In my case epg data from my provider is just about 3-4 days. Will wait for next repeat and try reduce it. Just for history.
Looks like they fixed problem in fw 2.59.
For may holydays it did lots of records with long channel and program names.
Looks like system is fine for now.

Wd tv mediaplayers family via dlna/upnp.
Android devices with vlc, vbox app, bubbleupnp.
Usual tv (lg, samsung) with dlna/upnp support.
Pc and netbook with vlc.

I'am using vlc it's upnp browser for channels watching for pc on linux and windows.
Same for some Android.
Also bubbleupnp and default mediaplayer on old android tablet.

Also using web livetv on linux pc with firefox esr with vlc installed.

Have you tried firefox esr?

Using vlc while you are in lan you can watch it via:
Upnp
Open network url (look into vbox settings stream - iptv - m3u links)

It's a shame you can't control the quality from within the Vbox. Broadway has this feature, and lets you set different levels for local & remote: I have contacted with broadway support, there is lot's of traps with it: 1.
