Re: How are others using their vbox's?

I am intrigued to know how others are using their vbox's as I find knowing things like this can increase my usage of it. Here is my usage: Currently I have a Plex server and have the Vbox setup in Plex for watching live TV and recording programmes. I use the Plex DVR to record shows onto the hard d...

Stream MPEG errors when EIT is enabled

When EIT is enabled, errors occur in the MPEG stream. Tvheadend server detects these errors and the 'Continuity Errors' counter goes up. When EIT is disabled the errors in the MPEG stream end, and the 'Cotinuity Errors' counter of tvheadend server stops. (Tested on XTi 3442 with firmware XTI_VJ.2.59...

Re: both dvb-s to same satellites

Hi I'm not sure to understand what is the problem let's start with what eventually you want to get? I'm a little surprised by your answer. I will give you an example: I have an XTi 3442 2x DVB-T/T2, a CoreELEC in an octacore processor and cheap TV box with 1x DVB-S/S2, an old USB DVB-T tuner, and a...

Re: Remote shutdown and restart

 Fantastic!, I created a script on my router to do a reboot of my VBox (after restarting the router itself to change IP). My problem was that VBox does not remember the username and password to access the network storage when it loses it because of the router restart. Thank you all Script for ...

Re: Sharing recordings on network

What you want is very easy. My VBox is configured to burn to a hard drive connected to one of the router's USB ports, converting it into a network disk or a disk in the cloud, since I access it both inside and outside the home. Direct access to the hard disk is done both by FTP and by Samba (for gen...

OTA Updates for VBox XTi 3442

A few days ago I requested a new firmware version of vboxcomm support for my VBox XTi 3442, and I received the XTI_VJ.2.58 version which is without a doubt the best firmware I've seen. I have two requests: 1.- Why does not the OTA firmware update work automatically in any firmware version? I request...

Re: Remote access

The best and most secure solution to remotely access any device (PC, VBox, Landline, etc.) within a private network is to install a router that supports an OpenVPN server. I have an Asus RT-AC87U for two years and it works very well. When I'm out of my country I can easily turn on and off my PC, use...
