Re: Amazon Fire TV Stick HD Viewing

hi the Fire TV Stick it references it plays 1080p, but doesn't mention 1080i. Do you think this could be the problem? Maybe the Fire TV Stick doesn't support 1080i in hardware No, i or p means interlaced or progressive Scanning Methods https://www.dummies.com/consumer-electronics/home-theater/interl...

Re: Amazon Fire TV Stick HD Viewing

hi

I don't have any Fire TV Sticks.
The most Boxes/sticks work with Hardware-Decoding (inefficient CPU), perhaps you must activate Hardware-Decoding.

Re: Amazon Fire TV Stick HD Viewing

hi Can anyone recommend a device they are using to view HD content? The most Android TV Boxes should play HD content, also SBC (Raspberry, Odroid C2...) with Kodi. How about the other Amazon device, the Fire TV with 4K? The new Fire TV stick or the Fire TV with 4K should play HD content. FireTV.png ...

Re: XTi 3342 firmware upgrade error

hi

Different vbox's - different firmware ;)
E.g. for vbox 3342 or 3442/3452 you need VJ-version.
Look at your System/status

Re: Video cutting software for Linux

hi Must support embedded DVB subtitles. Some software seems to strip this out That's the problem ! Re: EPG data for UK Freesat channels

hi I tend to download to storage, as it makes debug easier and limits load on www.xmltv.co.uk server Go to www.xmltv.co.uk and then to XMLTV feeds, look what you need and 'Show URL' -> copy the url in your downloadmanager. The limit for the xml files is 50 mb according to support. xmltvfeeds.png bye

Re: Higher prioritization of clients

Hi Well, it's interesting, but it should be able to set use it or not in case of recording. Not really ;) In my case (dvb-C) I record with another computer (tvheadend-server) and the vbox device see it 'only' as a normal upnp-stream with no priority in contrast to vbox device as capture device. So i...

Re: Higher prioritization of clients

hi I think, in most homes there are more than one clients/users and mostly one in main use (e.g. living room) and "only" two tuners available. So main user/client get always a stream, when ever he wants. Or particular for me; I record with another computer (tvheadend) - the tvheadend computer should...
